Liverpool_Newcastle

Andy Carroll's winter switch from Newcastle to Liverpool will add more excitement to this game but every team is still looking to achieve their goals

Newcastle r more safe now with 4 games left and they r 7 points clear from the relegation zone while Liverpool are still looking for the 5th spot inorder to be guaranteed Europa League spot as their hopes of finishing 4th seems more difficult

1st leg game ended in St. James' Part with a 3-1 victory for Newcastle .. Kevin Nolan gave the magpies the lead in Alan Pardew's 1st game as Newcastle manager replacing Chris Hughton , in the 2nd half Kuyt scored thanks to a deflection from Steven Taylor but later in the game Joey Barton brought Newcastle back on top and Andy Carroll finished the Job for Pardew's men.

my expected Line-up for Newcastle

Krul , simpson , coloccini , williamson , jose enrique , Barton , Tiote , Nolan , Jonas , Lovenkrands , Ameobi

we have a great home form under King Kenny (17 out of 21 points) and i just hope we can keep it that way...

this is what i want to see:
Reina, Flanagan, Carragher, Skrtel, Robinson, Lucas, Spearing, Meireles, Kuyt, Suarez, Carroll.

who's Robinson ??

Flanagan .. i'd love to see that , Newcastle's strength is on the left flank with Jonas n Jose Enrique n Flanagan is still young n doesnt have much of experience n i hope he will suffer

here the game will be won .. if Newcastle can keep the ball n win the midfield battle it will be a huge advantage for the magpies

don't underestimate Flanagan he's a solid defender and a hard working kid and had 2 great games against Arsenal and Man City.

as for the midfield i read a post similar to yours before the man city game, but it was Yaya Toure and Barry and guess who won that midfield battle !

I'm not underestimating him but as much as he is solid he will definatly suffer in front of 2 players much on form n with experience n confidence

Jonas n Enrique almost came up in each difficult game for Newcastle n proved they r the side to provide the danger

u rate ur midfield n i didnt underestimate em but i rate Newcastle's midfield highly , if Barton , Nolan n Tiote r having a gd day then it will be difficult for Liverpool to takeover in midfield
